Are we living life fully?
Or do we need our own personal burst?
The obstetrician, midwives and my husband just stared at me, not knowing how to respond.
There were looks of both smiles and confusion on their faces.
There was no chance that the baby's arrival was imminent.
So there I was, shouting to the doctors and midwives ‘I am going to burst!’
Switch to the first labour I had ever had, in 2015, with all the excruciating pain, the hidden baby within, concealed from the world, ready to make its entrance…
When the baby arrived into the world, there was silence. My eldest was stillborn.
Back to the hospital more recently and what an incredible delight and joy that with the same process, a healthy baby entered the world. Alive and full of wonder.
A beautiful baby emerged.
Burst Collection explores new beginnings.
And just then.....
Hidden, concealed, constricted.
And then BURST with exploding colour.
STRENGTH started off as a Menorah and gradually transformed into something quite magical, you will just have to be in its presence to experience it.

REVELATION was painted to depict the Revelation at Sinai - as a dear friend told me - “I feel like this is what really tapping into your essence is all about, and what bountiful goodness would look like”.

This painting is for my dear collectors who don't like colour. The painting looks silver and hazy at first glance but viewing from other angles reveals the fantastic colourful paint beneath. Subtle yet striking.
