To mark International Women’s Day and honour women, I was honoured to be a panelist to celebrate the launch of the Migdal Ohr Art Programme. This pioneering collaboration harnessed the power of art and philanthropy to empower vulnerable young women.
The evening featured a panel discussion led by Keith Fraser, exploring how art and philanthropy can serve as powerful tools for empowering women and creating meaningful social impact.
Together, we explored how creative expression builds confidence, identity, and opportunity for young women. The conversation highlighted the role of artists, collectors, and philanthropists in creating platforms that elevate female voices and expand access to the arts.
The discussion centred on mentorship, collaboration, and the transformative potential of artistic education in unlocking resilience, leadership, and long-term opportunity.
About the Migdal Ohr Art Programme
This programme brings together leadership in contemporary art philanthropy with Migdal Ohr’s educational expertise to create meaningful artistic opportunities for girls at Afikei Ohr Youth Village.
The programme will provide:
• Professional mentorship from leading artists and creatives
• Access to contemporary art education and cultural experiences
• A dedicated arts scholarship for exceptional talent
• Pathways to confidence, self-expression, and future opportunity
Through art, the initiative aims to empower vulnerable young women to discover their voice, build self-belief, and shape brighter futures.
All proceeds from the evening supported the Migdal Ohr Art Programme and it was a privilege to help the organisation.
My next speaking engagements are coming up so do stay tuned and if you would like me to speak at your next event, do please contact me to discuss.
Wishing everyone a lovely week ahead.
